Aerotek Production Operator (PP) in Vancouver, Washington

Entry level general production position involved in the processing of silicon.

Duties will entail certain physical elements requiring candidates to be standing primarily throughout the day, have good hand/wrist dexterity, and ability to lift/maneuver 10-25 lbs frequently.

The position is not a technical job, but will require some computer work and paperwork at times.

The environment can be dirty and dusty, but also has an area where work is performed in a cleanroom having to wear PPE including a hooded cleanroom suit with hairnet, safety glasses, face mask, and latex gloves.

This is a 10 hour day shift position, working 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday. Ideal candidates will be flexible to work any shift as it can be necessary to change to a Swing or Grave eventually.

Depending on performance and initiative taken, there will also be possibility of being cross trained into an operator position that would involve loading, unloading and running material through a machine for cleaning purposes which may involve working around hazardous chemicals and may be on a different shift.
